The program is a collaborative art residency hosted at Nosara Springs Wellness center in Nosara, Costa Rica and curated/produced by Orion Rex with the help of local venders and artisans.

The main intention and goal of the program is to create a catalyst of change, to bring attention to who the artist is, why they create and what their work means to them, diving into the meaning of art and the artist.

The program is designed to capture every moment of the experience through visual arts and story telling, giving the artist and the program an abundance of material for promotion, branding and depth.

The body of work created in the program will be digitized by the latest technology and registered on blockchain technology, attaching the art to the artist and creating a new pathway to generate funds for the artist and the arts as a whole.

In this day and age we are confronted with the hard realization that creative minds are dying and AI is replacing a good part of the creatives conflict and ability to create art from mistakes, emotion, love, hate or any deep meaningful reason, lets find a path back to creativity while also stepping into the future and embracing what is and what will be.

What does the program look like?

Pre-program interviews and artist deep dives.
Artist hosted in one of our casitas on site at NSWC.
Studio/Workshop space available for creation 24/7.
Materials, equipment shopping and logistics.
Breakfast and dinners prepared on site and made available to eat whenever.
E-Bike available for local transportation, shuttles for excursions.
Daily sessions with Orion to guide, curate and produce the program.
Local services integrated into the program to enhance the creative journey.
Professionally filmed interviews and additional deep dives with the artist.
Video and photography featuring the work of the artist and the process.
Curated final show of work, on site at NSWC in our beautiful event space.
Art available for viewing and purchase at local events, venues, and online store.
Featurette about the artist, the body of work and integrating a unique creative storytelling experience.
Integrated into select social media platforms.
Optional enrollment into the digital art program and blockchain program.

How long does the program run?

Depending on the project and the creative process it can vary, we are aiming to keep each artist window open 3-5 weeks.

Who is Orion? And why is he doing this?

In short I am a fellow creative that is following a dream to bring passionate creatives together to prosper and make magic. The art program is the nucleus of this vision, it starts the process of creation and transformation of the artist and the work.

I am also part owner of Nosara Springs wellness and curator of the program, I help the artists to maximize their creative flow during their stay and infuse my own flavor in as well, like all amazing creations it takes a blending and amalgamation of ingredients under the right conditions to produce something unique and different, I make sure that happens.

I have a background in design and building, technology, massage therapy, healing modalities and media production.

What does the program cost?

Depending on the length of the program and complexity of the body of work and production, programs can range from $4000 - 6000 per month, plus airfare and ground transportation.

What happens with the captured media?

The content will be available via digital drive and/or USB media if provided.
All media that can be attached to the blockchain program will be registered to the artist if optional program is enrolled into.

Alumni of the program will have the option to be part of a different program designed to create value for their art and the digital blockchain representation(also known as digital twins).

How do I join the residency program?

Artists interested in the program can apply online, or if you know an artist and want to support their journey and growth you can sponsor them by contacting us directly.

Once there are openings in the program schedule artists will be accepted on an individual basis and will be either directly supported by an investor or approved by a board of members.

Sponsorships and Trade

Would you or someone you know be interested in sponsoring an Artist in our program?
Sponsorship programs can be full or partial, depending on funds available and program cost.

Sponsors get benefits such as rental time at our center, exclusive offers from the artist and the program as well as directly helping to bring this program to life.

Nosara Springs Wellness is open to discussing work trades towards partial payment of the program directly with the artists as well.

Repayment over time from monetization of the program.
Non-profit tax write off in the USA.

Am I able to stay longer than the length of the program?

Yes, we have units available for longer stays in Nosara once the program ends and can help with this if needed, however the creative spaces will be freed up for future attendees.
